This Was, After All, A Waiter Blog

This Was, After All, A Waiter Blog
-appetizer-

I started "Exposed Brick" with Erika in an effort to drive you to my blog in hopes you might read my little scribblings on the subject of waitering and beyond.  But the manufacturing of the videos and the fact that I do hold down a waiter job has kept me from the original task, writing.

So, let me just dab my feathered quill in this ink well here.  There we go.  Okay, now let's see. Oops, I just spilled a little on the parchment.

(Can you find the four dirty double entendres in that last paragraph?  Hint:  There are only three.)

I'm procrastinating.  Trying to think of a subject worthy of written words.

...THREE HOURS LATER

Got it!  Aprons!

If you wear an apron to work, raise your hand.  Now put it down.  You are alone in your room on the computer.  Why are you raising your hand?  And, furthermore, why am I?  It's certainly making typing difficult.  The ole hunt 'n peck.

I don my apron for work.
I been doin' it for years and years.
Whenever I think of the last day I'll wear one,
My eyes well up with tears.

Oh, don't be sad.  It's probably just the onions.
